Where to Golf in Broward County, Florida

Due to our temperate climate and sunny weather, Florida has lots of golfers and plenty of golf courses to host them. Here in Broward County, you may be wondering where you can go to play a round of golf. We’ve gathered up a few of our favorite options so you can find a great golf course near you.

Rockledge Country Club (Rockledge, FL)

Right here in Rockledge, we’ve got an excellent private golf course that’s known to host many tournaments. Created in 1918, this golf course offers a 71-par layout and it’s a very pleasant course to play. Fun fact: President Warren G. Harding even played here!

Suntree Country Club (Melbourne, FL)

Another private club, Suntree has two 18-hole golf courses, in addition to tennis courts for any enthusiastic tennis players you might know. The Classic Course at Suntree used to be a regular stop for PGA Tour Champions players. Acclaimed golfer Arnold Palmer actually designed the club’s Challenge Course.

Duran Golf Club (Viera, FL)

Finally, you can check out this public golf course, which was voted Florida’s favorite public course. The course’s land used to be a sod farm, so it still has extremely lush grass that’s nice to play on. You can even enjoy a breeze off the Atlantic Ocean while playing here.
